[7] it’s almost my end

Ryosuke: oh, you’re awake.
Shiela: Where am I?
Ryosuke: guest room.
Shiela: where’s everyone?
Ryosuke: outside.
Shiela: hey! what are you reading?
Ryosuke: a novel.
Shiela: uh. *stood up and went near the door*
Ryosuke: where are you going?
Shiela: outside. 🙂
Ryosuke: are you okay?
Shiela: uh *smiles*
Ryosuke: Do you really know how to swim?
Shiela: nope. But I’m practicing it lately. So, I know a little bit. I really don’t know why, eventhough the pool is not that deep, I’m trying hard to catch my breath.

Ryosuke stood up and went near to her.

Ryosuke: I’ll go with you outside.

He hold her hand as they went outside the room.

Ryosuke: Ohayou!
Yuto: Ohayou! oi!. You’re so sweet.
Ryosuke: hey. shut up. *laughs*
Yuto: *to shiela* so are you okay?
Shiela: uh.

Ryosuke went nearer to the grill.

Shiela: You seemed serious today. uhm. I mean. You’re scary.
Ryosuke: am i? *laughs* Because the story that I have read influenced me.. oh, I’m sorry for acting weird..
Shiela: It’s just okay. anyway, you’re still cool.
Yuto *shouted*: Ryo~~~~ Shiela~~~~ Get the barbecue!! Let’s eat together..
Ryo & Shi: hai! coming..

They all sat down.

=minna: ittadakimasu!
Ryosuke: uh. minna. I just wanted to announce something. Totally good news~. Ryutaro will have his own movie!!
=minna: shocked. hontou Ryutaro?
Ryutaro: hai, hai. Hope that I could work with you guys in some scenes.
Kei: I do really hope!!.
Daiki: *laughs* Kei Inoo really needs a movie..
Kei: seriously? well, yes!
Yuya: oh Ryutaro! When will you start taking it?
Ryutaro: by next week.
=minna: woah~ great..
Mai: ganbatte neh..
Ryutaro: arigatou. *smiles*

Suddenly, Shiela felt uncomfortable. She can’t hardly breath. Ryosuke first noticed her.

Ryosuke: Shiela! Shiela! Are you okay?

They all got shocked and Shiela rests her head on Ryosuke’s shoulder.

Shiela *whispered  to Ryo*: It’s painful. *faints*

They called an ambulance and they all went to the hospital with Shiela. After hours of examination, the doctor came out and asked somebody to talk to him. Since Ryutaro couldn’t be the representative, Ryosuke volunteered himself. He went to the doctor’s office..

Doctor: There were three doctors that examined her, including me. But before that, what are the things that you have observed few days ago?
Ryosuke: On a pool, she’s trying to catch her breath eventhough the pool is not deep. I also observed that she became weak and easily looses her energy.
Doctor: I see. Would she eat foods that aren’t appropriate for her health?
Ryosuke: no.
Doctor: Is her mother coming?
Ryosuke: I haven’t contacted her mom. I’ll just contact her today if you need to talk to her.
Doctor: yes, please.
Ryosuke: excuse me.

He got Shiela’s number and contacted her mom. He explained everything and her mom got shocked. Shiela’s mom dashed to the hospital.

*knocks*
Shiela’s mom: Excuse.
Doctor: Please seat down.
Shi’s mom: Thank you.
Doctor: I think you already know what happened to your daughter, don’t you?
Shi’s mom: yes.
Doctor: I just wanted to ask you something. Do you have any relative that have heart diseases, diabetics, etc.?
Shi’s mom: My mom died of heart disease and some of my grandmother and cousins.
Doctor: oh, I see. This may be the reason why. It’s already explainable why she got this heart disease.
Shi’s mom: what?!?! What should I do? Is she still in an early stage? *cried*
Doctor: middle stage. We need a heart donor.
Shi’s mom: How much is it? I’ll pay just to save her.
Doctor: Well, it costs about $145,000.00 but this does not include the separate doctor / specialist / surgeon’s fees, anesthesia, tests, and costs for complications. It also does not include the ongoing costs of anti-rejection medications. Total, it costs about up to more than $500,000.
Shi’s mom: *stood up, bow* arigatou. *sniff* I’ll definitely come back to save her. *departed*

Ryosuke became shock and just glare blanky on the space without any reaction. Tears could be seen running through his face.

Doctor: Will you stay there for the whole week?

Ryosuke: *stood up.* I’m sorry. *went out*

He slowly went to where the jumps and other hp talents were.

Yuri: Please tell me, this is not a serious thing, right? neh? Yama-chan. Please tell me.
*grabbed Yuri*
Ryosuke: gomen.
Yuri: that couldn’t be. *cries*
Ryosuke: A genetic heart disease.
Yuri: what?!?!?
Ryosuke: Don’t cry much.. We’ll not tell them the truth.
Yuri: Why?
Ryosuke: Let’s hide the truth. It’s not yet time to tell them especially to Ryutaro.

When they went back, they just said that it’s not a serious problem. Ryutaro couldn’t explain it. He don’t know why is it so painful in his part. He cried without knowing why he’s so down. Why he really cared very much?  He couldn’t speak. Everybody went to Shi’s room but he just stayed outside. Eventhough he just knew that it’s not something serious..

…[NEXT WEEK]…

Inspite of what happened to Shiela, Ryutaro couldn’t cancel the first day of the shoot. He went to the set. Everybody seemed busy. From where he stood, he saw Mai holding some papers. He went near to her.

Ryutaro: neh, why are you here?
Mai: *giggles* The staffs and directors called my manager two days ago. They invited me to work with them. I accepted the invitation.
Ryutaro: so, why you didn’t tell me?
Mai: gomen~ I just wanted to surprise you.
Ryutaro: oh, I’m really surprised!. What’s would be your role?
Mai: They said that I would have an affair with you. Anyway, goodluck to us. I would have a little practice on this part. Ja ne~*departed*
Ryutaro: hai! ganbatte. *smiles*

He looked at his script. He studied it very well and memorized everything.

Director: Action!

*on the phone*
Ryutaro: neh. I’ll come back there at 5. Please wait for me.
Mai: okay. Please go home safe.
Ryutaro: sure.
*ends*

Director: cut!. next.

They changed the setting and another scene would be taken.

Director: okay! Action!
Ryu’s mom: Ryutaro! *hugs* welcome home.
Mai: welcome home. *hugs*Everybody’s waiting.

They went inside a room full of people and media.

Ryu’s dad suddenly spoke. He got everybody’s attention. Ryutaro, his mom, and Mai sat on the front. Ryutaro’s dad suddenly announced the new president of the company. Everybody clapped. Ryutaro stood up and went to the stage.

Director: cut!! *went to Ryutaro* Please smile a little bit on that part. Show them that you’re so greatful, uh. Not the cool one. okay?
Ryutaro: hai!.

Ryutaro felt uncomfortable as they continued taking the scenes. It seems that he could relate the story. He could just easily memorize the lines and seems that he already spoke thos lines before. But, he didn’t mind on what he’s thinking. He focused on his work until the day ends.

Director: nice job everyone. Let’s continue working tomorrow and have a little rest on the next day.

They all went home.

*Ryutaro’s phone rings*

Ryosuke: ya!.
Ryutaro: ya!- nani?
Ryosuke: we jus t wanted to visit you on the set tomorrow. Is it okay with you?
Ryutaro: sure! Where are you?
Ryosuke: with Shiela, Yuto, and Yurina.
Ryutaro: oh. How’s Shiela?
Ryosuke: She’s doing great these days. It seems that she’s okay. She told me that she would go with us tomorrow.
Ryutaro: oh, okay.
Ryosuke: You already eat your meal?
Ryutaro: I haven’t.
Ryosuke: You could eat with us.
Ryutaro: uh, sure. I’ll come. thanks.
Ryosuke: no problem. We’ll be waiting. ja ne!

*call ended*

He went to the hospital to see them. He brought flowers, fruits, and some food for Shiela. When he opened the door, a slight flash of memories made his head ache. He close blinked his eyes and continued.

Ryutaro: Konbanwa!!.
Yuto: oh, Ryutaro!.

Shiela looked at him.

Ryutaro: so. How are you?
Shiela: I’m fine. woah~ What’s that?
Ryutaro: Here, I brought these.
Shiela: woah! Thank you!
Ryutaro: how long would you be here?
Shiela: I’ll go out by tomorrow morning. *smiles*

Yurina: neh. minna. let’s eat!.

Ryutaro helped Shiela to stand up. They eat beside each other.

=minna:  ittadakimasu!
Yurina: neh, Ryutaro. I heard that Mai’s working with you.
Ryutaro: hai.
Yuto: hontou neh?!?! What’s her role?
Ryutaro: you would just know by tomorrow.
Yurina: eeeh? You’re really unfair.
Ryutaro: *laughs* Just visit me tomorrow.
Yurina: if that’s so, I’ll just go with them.
Ryosuke: would Yuri be with us tomorrow?
Yuto: He wanted to but he’ll just try his best. He would meet a composer tomorrow. He’ll try to catch us.
Shiela: Hope he could come…
Yurina: uh. I’m really excited to know Mai’s role!!.
Yuto: me too.

Ryosuke looked at Shiela. She bowed her head and stared at her food.

Ryosuke: neh!. Hope that tomorrow would be a great day for us!.
Yuto, Ryu, & Yurina: yeay!

Shiela glanced at Ryosuke. Ryo smiled at her.

/Ryosuke/: Hope that tomorrow would turn out good. 😀
