[2] a night at our place with him

Part 02 (my first night with him. duh. with my brother too.)

[AFTER 10 YEARS]

Riyo: Oi!. Yumiko! You still didn’t change your attitude. New Year’s done and you told me you will change.
Yumiko: You’re so mean! I’m trying to change here.
Riyo: hah! Is that what you called “CHANGE” or “TRYING TO CHANGE”? Snail is faster than you.
Yumiko: argh! tch. It seems that you’ve changed.

*Yumiko walks to the kitchen as Riyo is following her*

Mrs. Yamashita: Here’s your food.
Yumiko: Thanks mom.
Riyo: Weird.
Yumiko: huh?
Riyo: Let me guess. You prepared your lunch?
Yumiko: of course! Mom taught me are you insecure?
Riyo: Shut up weirdo.
Mrs. Yamashita: You two already grown up but you still didn’t changed.
Riyo: Talk to Yumiko about that.
Yumiko: It seems that you’ve changed.!
Mrs. Yamashita: Fine~ Continue your fight. Don’t go to school. You will be late if you’ll go.
Yumiko: Nevermind. Bye mom! *kissed her mom*
Riyo: The smartie don’t want to be absent in class. Bye mom, I think I’ll go home late *kissed his mom*
Mrs. Yamashita: why?
Yumiko: He would be dating his girl.
Riyo: Don’t trust her mom.
Mrs. Yamashita: (smiled) TAKE CARE! Riyo! Look over your sister~
Riyo: I won’t.
Mrs. Yamashita: don’t mess with me or I’ll tell our dad about your behavior.
Riyo: uh. hai!

[SCHOOL HALLWAY]

/murmurs/ [They're cute anyway].[I like that guy.] [One of my crushes] [I'll nominate her for the Student's Council President] [She'll definitely be mine] [Hate her] [He looks so strange]

Gotukuchi International. A private school for everyone. Tuition fee is not something that you could just smile with. This school is so famous in Japan. You could not just enter the school with your money but this school is the war garena for brains. All of the students are highly respected.

Yumiko: Is that your girl?
Riyo: uh, where?
Yumiko: You really had (laughs)
Riyo: Stop that weird behaviour. tch. You act like a  9 year old girl.
Yumiko: At least I have heart and mind.
Riyo: In your dreams. Here you go. Get inside.
Yumiko: Thanks oniisan. (smiled)
Riyo: At least, I could see your “angelic behaviour” once a week.
Yumiko: Oi!. How..
Riyo: ei, ei ,ei… You’re late.
Yumiko: uh, yes. I said.
Riyo: Before you go. REMINDER, don’t get near to boys.
Yumiko: I’m not like you.

*Yumiko entered the room before Ryo could say anything*

Riyo and Yumiko are the center of attractions in their school. Many girls praised and admired Riyo of his detective-like movements. He even got straight +A in all major subjects. He is the representative of Young Detectives Organization in their school.

Yumiko. A cute girl that is so friendly. Many wanted to make her as a Student Council President but she got a rival, Hana Kinuchi. Hana is her rival  in all fields where she’s in. Except for the Literature Club and School’s Music Room. She is the representative of the Literature Club and a guitarist in Kokoro to Kiss, a school’s band.

[HANA's HEADQUARTER]

Hana: tch.! hate it. This girl again. She won the Story Event yesterday. My stories are better than here!
Rina: Maybe she paid the judges.
Rikko: yeah. That’s an acceptable reason.
Hana: But we don’t have any evidence.
Rikko: (laughs) useless.

Hana is the only daughter of the  owner of Kinuchi Air. An airport in Japan for public planes, private jets,  and helicopters. She’s an intelligent girl who targets somebody that she will compete with.

Hana: Have you heard?
Rikko: What?
Hana: The news~
Rina: About that student that will transfer here?
Hana: bingo!
Rina: What’s the plan?
Hana: They said, it’s a cute man.
Rikko: I thought a useless transferee again.
Hana: (laughs) Maybe we could use him to make that Yumiko fall.
Rina: So, you’ll own him?
Hana: uh.
Rikko: What if..
Hana: He’ll not?
Rikko: yeah.
Hana: He’ll definitely say yes. Trust me.
Rina: Well, let’s see.

When Riyo and Yumiko entered the school gate, they suddenly saw a huge crowd in front of the Principal’s Office and Teachers’ Faculty. They don’t have any idea on what is happening. Riyo asked one of his close friends, so as Yumiko.

Riyo: Jino! (one of Riyo’s close classmate)
Jino: Oi!
Riyo: What happened?
Jino: The transferee.
Riyo: What’s with that?
Jino: You know. He’s cute. Smart. Whatever, even my girl is on the line.
Riyo: what the.

*Yumiko interrupted as Riyo is looking around*

Yumiko: uh.uh~ Looking for your girl? (Riyo was shocked)
Riyo: shi- uh, you scared me! Where the hell you came from? You’re like a ghost!
Yumiko: (laughs) My brother’s a coward..
Riyo: Shut up!~ Who wouldn’t be scared of what you have done?!?!
Yumiko: anyway, you’re girl’s not here. She’s in the library.
Riyo: I don’t have any girlfriend. Will you please stop that annoying character of yours?
Yumiko: okay. Got to go. I need to study before classes will start.

*Yumiko walked away but turn back*

Riyo: what?
Yumiko: How old is he?
Riyo: who?
Yumiko: The transferee.
Riyo: why?
Yumiko: iie. Just asking.
Riyo: Interested?
Yumiko: (nodded her head)
Riyo: He’s 16. Go to your room. You don’t have any chance to be classmates with him.

*Yumiko walked away*

[YUMIKO's CLASSROOM]

Yumiko: First plan. uh. But I should need some evidences. aaaaaaahhhhh! This is hard!
Shika (one of Yumiko’s close friend): Chill Yumiko!.
Yumiko: I can’t stand this. It made my head turn round and round. How could we solve the second puzzle if we can’t find even one evidence in case one?
Shika: We could just get it. We need time to analyze it properly. I know you could do it. You’re a smart ass.
Yumiko: Shut up!~. hahahhaah…

The case that they were solving is for the Young Detectives Organization event for everyone except for the members and officials of the organization. All students are included in this event and everybody’s IQ will be ranked. First, by group. The group that will win would solve the last case for the final ranking. This is one of the greatest event in the school. This would just happen once a year but would last for 3 months long.

At sharp 8, their English class starts. Followed by Geometry, and Chemistry. The bell then rings for lunch. Yumiko and Riyo then went to the canteen.

Riyo: lunch.
Yumiko: arigatou oniisan!
Riyo: do itashimashite.
Yumiko: you really are my great oniisan!
Riyo: Stop calling me weird names.
Yumiko: it isn’t weird.
Riyo: uh. Stop calling me those because I know you’ll love your oniisan.
Yumiko: huh? doushite?
Riyo: duh. Your little crushie. He’s my classmate.
Yumiko: hontou neh? What’s his name?
Riyo: Yuri Tanaka.
Yumiko: oh, what a cute name. May I go to your room?
Riyo: concentrate on your food first.
Yumiko: uh! (she nodded happily)
Riyo & Yumiko: Itadakimasu!

*finished eating*

Yumiko: May I?
*bell rings*
Riyo: hahahah!. poor thing.
Yumiko: aw. crap. I’ll go to your room later. ja ne oniisan~
Riyo: oi, don’t ever create any huge problems.
Yumiko: I won’t for sure!^^

Yumiko: Yamashita-san!
Riyo: wooah!. you scared me again!! What’s with the ‘san’?
Yumiko: where is he?
Riyo: who?
Yumiko: the transferee..
Riyo: oh, you mean. Yuri Tanaka..
Yumiko: hai! hai!..
Yuri: Riyo. I’ll go to your house today. We’ll make our project there..
Riyo: eh? You told me we would make the project in your house?
Yuri: I called mom and she told me that nobody’s home and the doors are locked. She confiscated my key yesterday..
Riyo: demo..
Yumiko: Oniichan *evil glare*
Riyo: *shocked* oh, hai. hai~..
Yuri: that’s great! Oh, are you Riyo’s little sister?
Yumiko: hai!
Yuri: souka. Yuri desu. *invited her to shake with his hand*
Yumiko: *shakes with his hand* hai. hai. Yumiko desu. Hajimemashite yoroshiku…
Riyo: let’s go.. *departed*

He noticed that Yumiko and Yuri aren’t  following him..

Yuri: e.eh.. Riyo? could you help me?
Riyo: oi! Yumiko! How long will you hold his hand..
Yumiko: eeeh? *blushes* gomen.

They silently followed Riyo until they reached home.

Yuri: Is this your house?
Riyo: uh. gomen. We’re not rich as what you may expect..
Yuri: iie. I’m not thinking about those kind of things. I mean. look! You’re house is huge and neat.
Yumiko: Please come in.
Riyo: wow! When did you become that good?
Yumiko: hey! What do you think of me?
Riyo: alien..
Yumiko: argh!!!

*Yuri laughs* They both looked at him.

Yuri: You two looked cute when you teased each other.
Riyo: That isn’t true!
Yuri: It is..
Riyo: Yumiko? cute?
Yumiko: oniisan!!..

Mrs. Yamashita: ohh!. You’re home!
Yumiko: gomen. mama.. tadaima!.
Riyo: tadaima.
Yuri: Konbanwa Yamashita-san. Tanaka Yuri desu.
Mrs. Yamashita: oh. hello Yuri. Welcome to our home. So, you’re going to make your project here?
Yuri: hai!.  Riyo’s my pair.
Mrs. Yamashita: Oh.. Please enjoy your stay and hope both of you could finish your project earlier..
Yuri: iie, Could I stay for the night?
Mrs. Yamashita: eeh? Are your mom and dad permitting you?
Yuri: hai..
Mrs. Yamashita: How about your clothes? You’re bringing.
Yuri: iie, I’m planning to borrow some of Riyo’s.
Mrs. Yamashita: okay^^ I’ll leave you for a while and get some of Riyo’s clothes.
Yuri: hai..
Yumiko: Could I help you, mom?
Riyo: wow.. You’ll help?
Yumiko: What’s with that?
Riyo: When did you learn to help.
Yumiko: Shut up, annoying! *departed*

Riyo lead Yuri to the living room. They prepared the materials and started making the project.

Mrs. Yamashita: Oh, here’s your clothes..
Yuri: Thanks. Where I could change?

Mrs. Yamashita lead Yuri to the changing room. Yumiko went to the living room and helped Riyo.

Riyo: wow. You really helped me huh..
Yumiko: You’re saying that kind of stuff that it seems i’m not helping you in making your projects.
Riyo: You never helped.
Yumiko: You’re an old man! You forgot that I helped your project.!
Yuri: yoosh,. Your clothes are comfortable to wear. thanks!.
Yumiko: that suits you.
Riyo: yeah..
Yumiko: Oh, when did you learn to second the motion of what I said?
Riyo: just now.. you heard right? you heard?
Yumiko: ah. eh.he-he-he.. yeah. i heard..
Riyo: wew.. You still bothered on asking me..

Mrs. Yamashita: Riyo!
Riyo: oh. hai.
Mrs. Yamashita: please help me to prepare the dinnn er.
Riyo: mom..
Mrs. Yamashita: let Yumiko rest.
Riyo: argh.. okay.. okay.. *whispered to Yuri* /beware/ *whispered to Yumiko* /don’t rape him/

*Yumiko punched Riyo.* baka.. baka oniisan!
Riyo departed as he laughed loudly through the hallways.

Yuri: Is your brother always like that?
Yumiko: uh.
Yuri: You looked cute when he teased you.
Yumiko: re-really? *blushed*
Yuri: uh.. Hope we could be friends..
Yumiko: *blushed more* hai. hai! We could. I mean. I could be your friend.^^
Yuri: Could we talk in school? uh. the three of us of course, with your brother..
Yumiko: hai..
Yuri: I like to listen to both of you as you teased each other.
Yumiko: *laughs* Don’t you have any brother or sister?
Yuri: My mom told me that I have, once. Demo..
Yumiko: eh? Where is she?
Yuri: I don’t know. My mom didn’t tell me where is she.
Yumiko: souka.. gomen.
Yuri: no, it’s just okay..

Riyo: lovey-dovey huh..
Yumiko: dinner’s ready?
Riyo: you piglet.. yes. dinner’s ready!
Yumiko: Thank you!!..

The three of them get their chospticks. *itadakimasu!*

They laughed and talked while they eat. Yumiko learned much about Yuri on that night. She also learned some bad stuffs from her brother (as usual!).
